Challenges
The biggest challenge was to track and maintain the order status in real-time for restaurants, rider (delivery guy), and user. The client wanted to us to utilize the method which tracks the activities of restaurant and rider from preparing the order to picking up to reaching the restaurant and delivering.
The second challenge was to select the rider as per their criteria like rider’s and restaurant’s location, rider’s availability, and equal opportunities for all the riders residing in the same area. All these factors were major and challenging task to implement in our on demand food delivery app.
Solutions
Having a vast experience and skilled developers, we took that challenge and turned it out to be a success by implementing algorithms and bifurcating rider and restaurant tables. Hence, the user would get accurate information or tracking details of the process of their food and delivery.
We successfully managed to assign the driver as per the criteria for food delivery. The criteria were kept in mind while developing this phase as we believed in giving equal opportunities to every rider.
