Challenges
When you are building a travel app hotel app, the main problem lies in inventory management. The rooms page is not static. A lot of users from across the world might be looking at a particular hotel or room at once. So, the app has to be in a position to effectively manage the hotel’s inventory so no two people get the same room. Also, the room status should also reflect depending on occupancy and availability.
Solutions
Once we identified the problem, we built a precise algorithm that would make inventory management system. On a single screen, we offered all the details vendors should know about their rooms and their management such as booking date, booking details, number of nights, estimated check-in time and more. With this, the app ensures there’s no overlap in booking paving the way for an efficient check-in/checkout procedures. We also integrated multiple payment modes to help customers pay their preferred ways.
