Challenges
One of the major challenges in developing Flamio was in building the vendor module. It’s a crucial module as it’s the bridge between customer problems and probable solutions. So, we had to develop a module that offered a bird’s eye view of all available requests, pending requests, canceled requests, pending actions and more.
The challenge was to keep the vendor on loop on the status of any of the above mentioned actions. The vendor had to know if a request is canceled as the app’s reputation would be at stake if a professional knocked on the doors of a canceled customer.
Solutions
To overcome the challenges, our team of in-house developers came up with the idea to develop an MVP – a Minimum Viable Product – to test the app’s functionality. This allowed us to develop an alpha version of the mobile app development with minimal aesthetics. We tested the app’s diverse features and functionalities and took corrective measures as and when required. Once the MVP showed promise, we went ahead with full-fledged development.
